Aunt Alexandra
Aunt Alexandra is a relic of the old South. She holds firm to out-dated beliefs about being a Southern lady. She represents a class of people who were subtly racist and who wanted to keep the classes separate. Harper Lee uses Aunt Alex to expose what is wrong with the Southern gentility. She believes that by dressing well, using manners, and being social, she is a true lady. But Aunt Alex cannot stand up for what is right; she cannot go against old notions. In the novel, it is Scout who becomes the true lady. Scout stands up for what is right and is true to herself and her values.
The actress I would pick to play Scout in to kill a mocking bird would be AnnaSophia Robb, Because In bridge to terabithia She is a tomboy Just like scout aslo in this movie she is around 12 years old which would make her perfect to play the role of Scout. She also gets along well with boys; Like scout As her best friend is a boy.
ReplyDeleteIf i was to pick some to act as Jem I would pick Thomas Brodie-Sangster .I picked him because I have seen nanny mcphee the movie and in this film he was very much like Jem in the movie.He is around 13 in the film and I think he would play a perfect role of Jem. In the film he is smart and always plays games with his sisters .
ReplyDeleteThe actress I picked to play the role of Scout is Dakota Fanning. I picked Dakota because in the film Charlotte's Web she plays the role of an 11 year old girl who is a bit of a tomboy just like Scout is.

ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose an actor to play Jem Bruno from the boy in the striped pyjamas because he is adventourous and to me it is what he would look like.
ReplyDeleteIf i was to pick some one to act as Scout i would pick Eden Taylor-Draper who plays belle dingle in emmerdale because she is a young girl shes a tomboy and she also asks alot of questions .
